CONCRETE-WOOD TILES-RESPECT FOR ORIGIN-TRADITION

VILLAGE WINE

Grapes: Garnacha 100%.

Area: old vineyards from DOP Cebreros village-Sierra de Gredos

Wine type: aged red wine

Vineyards: bush old vines, in granitic and slate soils, rounded by pine trees between 750-1.060 meters above sea level. low yields per hectare

Wine making: after picking, grapes are cold at 0 ºC. Alcoholic fermentatios happens in concrete tanks, following soils and altitud datas. depending on the tanks we can use differents amounts of whole-bunches but the 100% are spontaneos fermentation. After fermentation, wines aged in wooden french “foudres” of 150 hl and concrete tanks of 160hl where they stay for 12 months. on october we decided the final assemblage.  light filtering and bottling with a very low level of SO2

Tasting notes:  ruby, bright and clean color. fresh red fruits aromas, with some floral touches. Very Garnacha varietal. Really fresh in the mouth, light but with a good length and an excellent acidity. vertical, juicy and tasty wine,

Temperature to serve: 12-14 ºC.
